A joke...

What is the difference between a drumlin and a random lump of Earth?

The answer? Who knows...But if anyone does manage to find out, please let me know (preferably before i have to go and try and identify them in the Lake District in January) For those who do not know much about glaciers, drumlins are deposits left by the glacier, that look suprisingly like lumps of Earth. And while the lecturer may enthusiasticly point out 'drumlins' in a photo and hence deduce the time period, speed, direction and favourite ice cream flavour of the glacier, i am afraid i am slightly more sceptical (or incompetent, one of the above).

In other news, it's nearly Christmas! All we need is some snow...
