Crossview Terrace here we come...

Oh yeah! We now own 3/15 houses on crossview terrace, following the latest aquisition of no.12 fro ditt and tom and co. Hoorah! think of the houseparties...Anyway what did i do today-not much really. Had quite a few lectures and now im off to planet of sound-which will either emazing or rubbish! Lets hope its not the latter

Yes its true im back. Having survived legionnaires, meeting Lord Carey (kind of) and a whole two weeks of Uni im back! Sorry about hte extended absence of my blogs. I guess i have less time. Anyway i will try and post more...i promise. Today i am doing impossible maths amongst other things and then watching 24 tonight-cant wait. Will write soon

Well well. This is the last blog form home for a while. Tomorrow i head back off to sunny sunny Durham. I should be packed by now, but of course im nowhere near packed. Ah well il go and do it after this. I went shopping today! Yes shopping, and i wasn't even accompanied by a girl! I bought some nice clothes (well i think they are nice!) and some boxes. Very exciting!

I was going to rant about 'rights' today but i can't be bothered as without full explanation i will only be misinterpreted. So i wont. Instead i will simply ramble on for a little longer. See you all in Durham i guess!

Hey ho! Arrrghhh im a pirate! That's said pi-rahhh-tea. Because everyone knows that's how you say it. Any other way would quite frankly be silly. I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning this morning (well kind of) and i don't even feel that tired tonight! I am actually considering getting up early tomorrow without cause. Shock of all shocks

To be frank i'd have to change my name. Today had been rather exciting! Wot wot! Ohh yasss i have turned all rahhhhh for a moment or two. I went and looked at some clothes. A brilliant way to not spend any money when shopping is to do everything as you normally do, until you are about to go to the till-then put all your clothes back and walk out. Its just as fun! In fact if you really want to con yourself you can even take sum bags stuffed with old clothes to convince yourself you have bought something!

Ahhhh consumerism. Does anyone read the independent? im quite a fan of the newspaper, apart from one article. Its a weekly article called 'sleeping around' which is some slag telling us all how many affairs and crazy antics she has been involved in this week. Call me boring-but id rather read about one heroic piece of sweetcorns journey through her small intestine. Hmm maybe i should complain and offer to write a better piece? Who knows. Anyways enough rambling for now

Who cares about qualifications in the North East?

Yes, today (not yesterday) i have had the delights of IT&Skills work. Investigating qualification levels nationwide with special reference to yorkshire and the humber. How boring can you get. Still i have now made a start on it which is good. Very good. Amazingly brilliant some would say.

That took the majority of my day. The remaining hours have been cut short seeing as i have a 9am start tomorrow-Frankly i think its unnatural-but i suppose it wont hurt me once in a while. In reality it will be 7am sharp as of next monday. Ahhh alas exams get nearer. I really really want to go back to Uni, but i really really really don't want to do these exams. I guess mathematically, a simple subtraction leaves me with 'i really don't want to go back' but that is not the case. Maybe that is why we don't rely on maths in such occasions. Hmmmmm.

If only i were a millionnaire....

Then i would have wont he item on ebay which i lost because of the fact that the price shot up by £20 in the last 30mins!! Still at least i saved myself some money i suppose-remember there is always a good side to everything! While im in a good mood i would also like to say that i do recongise Rutland as county, and that should anyone read this who is from Rutland-namely Caroline Dos Santos-please take no offence!

There we go that has covered me now, in case of the worst! So what did i do today..... Well nothing very much. I tried to do some more work but failed miserably. I dont excel in excel and so it takes me a while to do even the most basic of things. Still i am making very very slow progress.

Ooooh how exciting-i am currently experiencing firsthand, convection currents in a tealight. Sorry i don;t know why but really interesting things seem to happen to me when i'mwriting my blog!

Yes yes i know yesterday's blog was full of cheese, but remember cheese is not always bad-ake cheshire as an example. No man alive could call that cheese bad. I said this blog would be an opening of my mind and that happened to be what i was thinking! Sorry!

Anyway, i have been very good and done some more work. Is it really necessary to have 5 ways of defining a line. One small straight line through R^2 ( the 2d plane)...BREAKING NEWS.....

It appears following a phonecall with my old friend from school who is coming to visit me at Durham...that where he now lives (he moved in year 9).....there also lives a girl who from what i believe used to be his ex-girlfriend.....Are you ready for this??? This girls name is Katy Cook-no not thid floor katy, but none other than the Katy Cook who is best friends with RUTLAND GIRL!!! Stay posted for more details...

Wind beneath my wings.

Nothing has really happened today. Did some work and then had some people round for tea this evening. But i have been thinking....i know its dangerous! At our certificates evening they got someone to play/sing 'wind beneath my wings'. Now although its kinda a really cheesy song-i think the words are actually quite good. How many times have you marvelled at your achievement and success, then suddenly realised that theres someone underneath you (not physically!!) holding you up and supporting you. Maybe its just me....Who knows

I know there are lot of people who are the wind beneath my wings-and most of the time-i have the tendency to forget that they are there. Anwyays, just some musings from perhaps the saner half of my mind! Apologies about the cheesy thought!!

Tomorrow promises to be a rather dull day of work. But i am going out for a drink in the evening! yippee!

Not me! Yes another awards ceremony at which i won nothing! Still got some nice A-Level certificates i suppose. Never really stood a chance against the two birghtest people in the year who happened to be in my maths and physcis classes!

Still im not really bothered. It was nice to see my friends again. I think really what tonight did was to confirm to me that i have absolutely no regrets about leaving school. The school itself i completely disagree with and i am glad not to be associated with it. I had a fantastic time there, due to teachers and friends, but i also had plenty of not so great memories dealing with the school itself. So finally i have waved it goodbye and moved on.

Went into town again today-i really am getting a lot of excercise these days! Just like back in durham i suppose!

Springtime for Hitler

Just been to see The Producers at the cinema. It was a fantastic film! Don't listen to the reviews-go and see it! Well we enjoyed it anyway! And, best of all...it has pigeons!! Yes it has cooing, flapping, flying-even dancing pigeons. That makes any film worth seeing. But even if you don't like pigeons, still go and see it!

Having said that it is quite weird, and 2 people did leave after 20mins! Anyway firstly a virtual fireplace is a dvd, that when played, looks like real fire! hence i can have a fire in my room with no hassle! How brilliant is that!

Right then...what other wonderful things do i have to say...hmmmm.. i did some of my Uni work today, so im feeling real pleased with myself. Though in reality i have done one of quite a few days work-so i shouldn't make too much of it. Tomorrow i hope to do more-and then i have my certificates evening in the evening (obviously!). Taraa

Hello hello-this was written on tuesday by the way. Problem with the internet means i have to post a lil late!
I bought a virtual fireplace on ebay! Yay! Go me. I guess i kinda got carried away, but it is amazing!

Went into town today, and so am thoroughly exhausted! All that effort in one day!
Tomorrow hoping to go to the cinema! Which would be nice. Maybe to see the producers, coz it looks funny even though all the reviews are average.

Once again, today was a day of nothingness. Apologies to all those who were involved in it-i don't mean boring-simply not containing much productivity.

Spent the afternoon over at Kat's with some of her extended family. Thats her wider family. Hmm why is that however you say that, it just sounds as though her family were recently caught up in a terrible stretching accident that made them all longer or wider?? Just to reassure you, what i meant was her cousins, aunts, grandparents etc etc.

That was great fun and involved eating some more food! And then sitting for a bit. All in all an exhausting day. Big plans for tomorrow though! I think i'm actually going to leave the house before midday and venture into town. Don't know what to get-preferably something very cheap, but i thought twud be a nice change-and for the first time town will be empty as all the schools go back! Always thinking..always thinking..

2006 Bring it On!

And thus started the year of 2006 AD.

Saw in the new year in style-well not much style because it's me we're talking about here...
Spent most of the day at Katherine's house doing random things like making films and drawing pictures!!! Yes we are actually both insane. Even the men in white coats won't have us. Maybe the ones in orange coats might appear...the ones so rare-no ones actually sure whether they exist or not, partly because all the people that see them are already in the deepest clutches of insanity!

Still, til then i'll keep amusing myself one way or another. Hope everyone else had a spiffingly good new year and that everyone has enjoyed their first day of what promises to be a fun filled year! I actually have nothing to say today-so i will leave

Ladies and gentlemen...class of 2005...wear sunscreen!

2005 has been quite a year for me. So i thought i'd just go over some of the highlights.

Firstly i got my A-Levels. Probably one of the best moments this year was picking up my results. It meant so much to me inside, and so doing well was a major boost for me.

Then came 10 weeks of Uni! Probably 10 of the best weeks of my life. I made so many good friends and had such an amazing time it was unbelievable. I enjoyed every moment of it, even doing my essay all night!

Katherine got back from Peru late April. Although it seems ages ago now, it was pretty special. Also going to France together in the summer was amazing. We also both helped at a youth drama camp in the summer which was good fun as usual. And now we are at Uni together!

In April i had my 18th, which, although Katherine wasn't here for! lol, was great. Had quite a few other 18ths too. They are always a laugh.

England won the ashes! Although i had nothing to do with it of course, that has to be a highlight.

Well i think those are the main highlights. I've probably forgotten something really important-but hey! c'est la vie. Now bring on 2006!!!

Which brings me onto my next topic-My digital camera which arrived this morning! Yay. Tis brilliant. Look out for random photos appearing here over the next few weeks!

This evening had friends round for a meal/family stuff etc. Was good. This habbit of eating and doing nothing else is going to have to come to an abrupt end after the new year though!

More relatives!

Yes today it was our turn to do lots of travelling. And so having got up at 6.20 in the morning we set off down to bath to see my grandma for the day. And i have only just got back. I wonder what certain people might make of today's level of activity?

I love grandparents. My grandma has lived in her house for the past 60 odd years-the vast majority with My grandad who passed away two years ago. It's amazing how the house has barely changed ovet those 60 years. And all my childhood memories of the place still exist-the same ornaments, photos, weird random objects are still almost exactly as they were 8 years ago. This is especially the case going upstairs where my grandma is no longer able to venture. It almost has a very haunting feel to it (haunting not haunted-big difference!!!)

Anyways so today has been a good day, even if a little boring spending over 10 hours in the car. I guess it's an example of how one small sacrifice can mean a lot to someone else.

What have you done today to make you feel proud

Absolutely nothing-as promised. And i have enjoyed every minute of it!
Got up about 10am, had breakfast, helped Man Utd to the Champions League Semis, Ate lunch, went to Knaresborough on a trip vaguely to do with shopping, then ate a little more once id got back (to katherines house). Then i went home, had tea, watched Max and Paddy then came upstairs and ate some chocolate.

There you go-the grand summary of my day. Am i the only one who actually despises th human race 90% of the time?? Road rage, stressed out shoppers, spoilt brats, bad drivers, incompetent sales people-its just one list of annoyance. I settle for an agreement where as long as people dont come crashing into my day-i stay away from theirs-But so often they do....for a few awful moments our paths cross.

Advanced warning i may not post tomorrow as i am away all day-but il do my best-Then we'll be onto New Year and stuff!!

Tuesday 27th December

For those of you who may be deluded-it is infact still tuesday!!

Today was a relatives day. That means that i spent the whole day eating, drinking and playing games! (with relatives of course). In fact the 27th December is quite often such a day, to the extent that if 'twer a saints day-u guarantee they'd be related to you!

This Christmas has been quite relative-ish in general. Pretty much all i have done for the last 3 days is socialise...eat...and drink-barely making time for sleep. Hence i look forward to absolute zero of activity tomorrow (www.sleeptyper.blogspot.com for def.). No plans as of yet-but maybe going to Narnia. (the film obviously coz the place doesn't exist). Well the place may exist-please let me know if you find Narnia in your wardrobe-id love to visit.

364 days to go!!!

Well thats Christmas over for another year....tis a shame-oh i wish it could be christmas every day. Well anyway was great fun. Got lots of presents and a fair amount of money and had a really nice time. And now im sat here and contemplating starting the most boring assessment ever set-which consequently was set by a sandal wearing apparently quite fanciable (no names mentioned..) lecturer who obviously was tricked into agreeing to be course convenor (or however you spell it!).

Thanks for the jokes guys. Winner i think had to be Will with his one about the pizza. Emmas was well lets face it awful, Griffs was ok, and Andy would have won the prize for most effort, but perhaps next time should choose some slightly better jokes! Prizes will be on the way soon...

Anyway better go and eat some more-havent eaten for at least 2 hours now! Hope everyone had a good Christmas!
